Roborock S8 Pro Ultra The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop, is the newest version. This year's model has an agitator that doubles as its mopping pad. This improves the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction power that allows it to remove finer hairs and other debris other robotic cleaners might miss. Like the other two Roborock models I've tried, this one has reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that can help it avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and includes two cameras that can recognize objects, and determine if they're walls or other surfaces. It then can automatically alter its direction and clean them without skipping a beat. It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, but it's also packed with features. Its sleek, angular style is striking and has just three physical buttons which include the power button which can also restart cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock; and a home button to bring the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal the 350ml dust bin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank is self-emptying and the bin auto-refilling. The only issue I encountered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if required, but it's a challenge to remove the mount to wash it manually. It is among the most powerful options available. This powerful vacuum can clear up pet hair as well as crumbs and other dry debris. The X40 will also track its progress and notify you when it's finished. The X40 is easy to maintain and has many features that make it an excellent option for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the dustbin into a huge 3.2 L bin, cleans the mop pads, and refills them with clean water and cleaning solution. It can also detect when the mop pad is overflowing and alert you before it gets overflowing, reducing the requirement for manual maintenance. 4. L20 Ultra The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that is among the most expensive models available however, it comes with many extra features that make it stand out. It's a little heavier than the other two-in-1 robots on this list, at 4kg however it's not overly heavy, and feels sturdy and well-built. Mopping is also well-designed and the double-rotating mops work well on hard floors and in corners. They can also extend to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice addition.
